But in this economy situation, you know.. almost everybody experience a downturn in economy and tourists down about 20% in the islands, you may think twice to have your honeymoon in such luxury place in Hawaii.   • You have to try to buy a meal outside your hotel or resort. In hotel or resort the price for food is very expensive. Try the Hawaii exotic cuisine, for example if you stay in Paki Maui Resort, you have to try the Honokowai Okazuya & Deli right accross the resort. For about $10 one person you will have a great dinner with a fresh cooked meal , fresh veggie, and rice or macaroni salad. The meal including Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Katzu, Mongolian Beef, and Mahi-mahi...sound yummy. They were packed in styrofoam container. And the Honokowai Okazuya & Deli is not the only one. Just search about it, you'll find many local Hawaii restaurants that offer great meals in affordable and reasonable prices.
  • Take the public transportation instead of rent a car, like in Waikiki, you may not need a car because the bus there are great and cheap. But if you have to rent a car, try to join the frequent renter program. It will save your money. If you own a car, don't forget to bring your insurance ID card, you have a chance that your insurance will cover your rental car in Hawaii. Just check your automobile insurance.
You and your spouse deserve to have great times as honeymooners, try to visit best Hawaii beaches like Waikoloa Beach, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach that also the sactuary of green sea turtles, Lumaha'i Beach, Po'ipu Beach Park, Salt Pond Beach Park and many more.
